The Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) has announced the introduction of the ‘Maha Mock Test’, which is recognized as the nation’s inaugural state-wide mock examination initiative for candidates preparing for MHT-CET and JEE.
This initiative, spearheaded by Klasy Innovations in collaboration with MCOA and presented by CBS with Prometric serving as the technology partner, aims to furnish students throughout Maharashtra with a simulated examination environment that reflects national-level testing conditions, as stated in a release. The program also provides remedial insights and remote follow-ups, according to the MCOA announcement.
The launch took place during the association’s Teachers’ Day celebrations and awards ceremony, with registration for the test remaining open until Children’s Day on November 14. This timeline has been established to assist students in their preparation for the JEE exams scheduled for January and April, as well as the MHT-CET in May, as noted in the release.
“This initiative focuses on empowering students and revolutionizing the learning process. For the first time, over 5,000 coaching classes are uniting to deliver world-class testing standards, ensuring equitable opportunities for students from Mumbai, Nagpur, and Nandurbar,” stated MCOA president Prajesh Trotsky.

“This initiative focuses on empowering students and revolutionizing the educational process. For the first time, more than 5,000 coaching classes are uniting to establish world-class testing standards, thereby ensuring equal opportunities for students from Mumbai, Nagpur, and Nandurbar,” stated MCOA president Prajesh Trotsky.
The event featured Sandeep Jha, chairman of Sandeep Group of Institutes, as the chief guest, while the guests of honour included Shyreyaan Daya, co-founder and CEO of OLL and the youngest entrepreneur highlighted on Shark Tank India, along with Mangesh Nayak, a retired sub-inspector and hero of the Mumbai attacks, recognized for apprehending terrorist Ajmal Kasab.
During the event, the association revealed the establishment of FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators), a coalition comprising eight coaching organizations that will collectively advocate for policy issues such as the proposed Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms.
Additionally, a partnership with CBS Foundation was announced to implement group insurance schemes for teachers, aptitude assessments for students, and career guidance programs.
MCOA is a non-profit organization that represents coaching class owners in Maharashtra, with the goal of advocating for policy reforms, fostering innovation in education, and safeguarding the interests of coaching professionals.
