The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell published the provisional merit list for admission into BE and BTech courses for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates who applied for the MHT CET counselling will be able to check their merit numbers on the official website — fe2024.mahacet.org.
The provisional merit list will display the candidates’ scores based on the Maharashtra CET results, marks from the qualifying examination, and additional criteria. The window for submitting grievances related to data corrections will be available from tomorrow until August 6.
The applications registered after July 30 are considered only for non-CAP seats and the applications confirmed by scrutiny centers after July 31 will also be eligible only for non-CAP seats.
The candidates must keep in mind that the final seat allocation will be based on the inter-se merit list. A distinct merit list will be published for seat allocation. Candidates who submitted their application forms via the MHT CET CAP portal before the deadline will receive a merit number. The MHT CET merit list will be created based on the state CET score, marks from the qualifying exam, and other relevant criteria.
For HSC candidates, the MHT CET counseling merit list will be based on either the Maharashtra CET scores or the marks obtained in any other relevant examination conducted by the appropriate authority for admission to these courses.
