MUMBAI: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has released the provisional answer key, question papers, and candidate response sheets for the MHT CET 2026 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) group second attempt. Candidates can download these documents from the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The second-attempt PCM exam was held between May 12 and May 20, 2026, recording an attendance rate of 88.54% with 285,038 students appearing out of 321,917 registered candidates.
Steps to download the answer key and response sheet:
- Visit Website: Go to the official Maharashtra CET website at
cetcell.mahacet.org. - Access Portal: Click on the candidate login link or the specific “MHT CET 2026 Answer Key” option on the homepage.
- Log In: Enter your registered application number/roll number and password.
- View Documents: Access your question paper, recorded responses, and the provisional key from the dashboard to estimate your scores.
Details on the objection tracking facility:
- Deadline: The window to raise grievances or challenge the provisional keys will close on May 30, 2026.
- Processing Fee: Candidates who find any discrepancies must submit their challenges online through the objection tracking system along with a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 per question.
- Marking Scheme: Scores should be estimated using the official scheme: Mathematics questions carry 2 marks each, while Physics and Chemistry questions carry 1 mark each. There is no negative marking.
Following the verification of all received objections, the CET Cell will publish the final answer key, which will form the basis for the declaration of the normalization-based percentile results.
