The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the exam date of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination for the FMGE 2021 session. As per the announcement the exams are going to be conducted on June 18, 2021.
FMGE exam is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December with a motive to issue a provisional or permanent registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council to an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs). The application form and brochure will be available at nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
About the FMGE 2021 Exam
FMGE will be conducted in the computer-based mode and will have a total of 300 multiple-choice questions asked from Pre-Clinical, Clinical, and Paraclinical subjects taught during MBBS.
Eligiblity for FMGE 2021 Exam
- Aspirants who are Indian or Overseas Citizen of India.
- Candidates whose primary medical qualifications are confirmed by the concerned Indian Embassy.
- Aspirants who have all the requisite documents as evidence to prove that they have qualified for the final examination of Primary Medical examination on or before the specified date.
- Medical graduates which have completed their undergraduate medical education from the country like New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the United States, of America are not required to appear for the exam, since they are already recognized for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country.
- If the primary medical qualification degree of the medical graduates will be received after May 31, 2021, then the aspirants will not be considered eligible as per the FMGE eligibility criteria set by the authority.
How to fill the FMGE 2021 June session application form?
Step 1- Visit nbe.edu.in and click on the “FMGE June 2021” tab.
Step 2- After visiting the page click on the new registration tab and fill in the required details such as the mobile number and email id.
Step 3-Candidates will receive their login credentials on their registered mobile number and email id.
Step 4– After receiving the login credentials, visit the FMGE page once again.
Step 5- Log in and submit the qualification, personal, and all other requisite details.
Step 6- Pay FMGE 2021 application fee for the June session. Candidates have to pay an amount of ₹5500 in online mode through debit/credit card or net banking.
Step 7- Cross-verify all details and take printouts of the confirmation page for their future references. Save the last page for future reference.
