The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the date and time for the release of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) results. Students can check their HSLC marks from the afternoon of May 24. In 2023, HSLC or Class 10 exams began on March 10 and concluded on March 22. According to the exam schedule, the exams were conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. A total of 24,361 students appeared for the exam out of which 11,197 were boys and 13,164 were girls. The HSLC board examinations were held across 96 centres.
Last year, 28,938 candidates appeared for the HSLC exams out of which 18,721 candidates passed and the overall pass percentage was 64.69 per cent. The result was declared on May 31 and the exams were conducted from March 9 to March 20.
In 2021, the overall pass percentage was 69.42 per cent as compared to 70.03 per cent in 2020. A total of 16,388 students had cleared the HSLC exam out of 23,608 students. 8,470 girls and 7,210 boys passed the HSLC exams respectively.
In 2020, NBSE scheduled the HSLC exams from February 14 to February 26 and the result was declared on May 31 .
