The provisional answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 has been released online by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students who appeared for the test can now access the provisional answer keys on the official NCET website, ncet.samarth.ac.in. The NCET 2024 exam was conducted on July 10 from 2 to 5 pm across various centers in India. The exam had been previously rescheduled on June 12 due to technical issues.
The window for raising objections is currently open, allowing students to submit their challenges until 11 pm on July 31. The last date for payment related to objections is also set for July 31, at 11:50 pm.
Challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If any objections are found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the updated key will be applied to all candidates’ responses. The final results will be prepared based on this revised answer key.
However, NTA clarified that no individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenge. The final key determined by the experts will be considered conclusive, as stated in an official notice by NTA.
Additionally, NTA noted that in the case of any discrepancies in the bi-lingual question papers, the English version will take precedence, except for Language Test papers.
