National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021 scores will now be considered for admission to various B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses. The result of NEET-UG 2021 may be used by other entities of Central and State government in accordance with their eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses.
The decision was taken after the recommendation of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regarding utilization of NEET (UG)-2021 Result by the admitting Colleges / Institutions regarding B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course.
The official notice reads, “The Result of NEET (UG) – 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules.”
The Agency has further received specific requests from the nursing colleges affiliated with Delhi University for including them in the List of Participating Institutions of NEET (UG) 2021 (on the recommendations of DU, to enable them to utilize the NEET (UG) Score for the students seeking admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Course.
The registration date for NEET 2021 has also been extended in this regard. Candidates can now apply for the examination till August 10, 2021. Interested candidates can visit the official website to know more about the admission process.
