In total, the results of 22 candidates have been annulled. According to the official list, the scorecards issued to these candidates are now void. The NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee has cancelled the NEET PG results for 21 candidates due to the use of unfair means during the NBEMS examinations. For one candidate, the result has been cancelled following the resolution of WP NO 5785 of 2025 in the High Court of Karnataka.
The NEET-PG 2025 examination took place on August 3 in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres, with over 2.42 lakh candidates participating in the computer-based examination. To ensure the exam was conducted efficiently and securely, NBEMS implemented extensive arrangements and assigned more than 2,200 faculty members from various medical colleges and hospitals to enforce stringent measures against malpractice.
The NEET PG results were announced on August 19, 2025. The cutoff scores are 276 for the open category, 255 for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and 235 for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (SC/ST/OBC) and PwD of SC/ST/OBC.
