The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the mandatory NIFT mock tests 2022 for candidates between February 1 to 3, 2022, in online mode on nift.ac.in. The NIFT 2022 mock tests are being conducted program-wise in two sessions – morning and evening.
Students are grouped into different groups based on their NIFT entrance exam registration numbers. Given the epidemic situation, NIFT officials have decided to conduct the NIFT entrance exam 2022 online remote proctored mode on February 6, 2022, Sunday.
Steps to take the NIFT mock test 2022
- The NIFT mock tests are being conducted in online mode – niftadmissions.in.
- Next, find the “Enter your Roll Number and press “SUBMIT” to proceed” section.
- Then, students will have to log in to the mock session by using their NIFT login credentials (NIFT roll number).
- To take the NIFT 2022 mock tests, the student will need;
- a laptop/ desktop which should have a functional microphone and webcam.
- an android mobile phone/ tablet with UCanAssess app installed.
- The students need to follow the guidelines released by the authority to take the mock.
NIFT 2022: Online remote proctored mode guidelines
- Students are not required to visit any NIFT exam center for appearing in the entrance exam. They can appear for the NIFT 2022 exam from their respective location(s).
- They should sit in a place where they would be able to appear in the NIFT exam 2022 peacefully without any interruption during the examination.
- Students should have two devices to take NIFT 2022.
- Device 1 for the test. It should be a laptop/ personal computer which should have a functional microphone and webcam.
- Device 2 for pairing/ security and for clicking photos of the answer sheets. This device will need to be paired and will need to be an Android Mobile/ Tablet with a camera, microphone, latest chrome browser along with UCanAssess app installed.
- Candidates need to sit in front of Device 1 so that/ her face is visible at all times.
- Device 2 needs to be so placed that your rear/ side view is visible from its camera.
- Students have to ensure uninterrupted power supply and stable internet connectivity, during the NIFT entrance examination.
- Students are required to make their arrangements for personal computers/ laptops. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) does not make any arrangements in this regard.
- Students will be required to show their NIFT exam admit card and ID proof before the camera, when asked to do so, for verification purposes.
