The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration for PhD entrance test for the University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). Eligible candidates can apply for NTA PhD entrance test 2023 on the official website, phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in. The last date to apply and pay the application fee is September 8.
NTA will open the Ph.D. entrance test 2023 correction window on September 9. Candidates will be able to edit the application form by September 11. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed their postgraduate or equivalent examination or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in PhD entrance test for DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU. There is no age limit to appear for the exam.
The duration of PhD entrance test 2023 will be three hours. The entrance test will include two sections – section 1 on research methodology and section 2 on the selected subject. The question paper will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer whereas one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.“Information about the eligibility, scheme of exam, exam centers, exam timings, exam fee, procedure for applying etc. are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on the website of NTA,” said NTA in the official notice.
