The National Testing Agency has published the cut-off for the NTA UGC NET Result 2025. Candidates who participated in the University Grants Commission-NET examination can view the subject-wise and category-wise cut-offs on the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET results were declared on July 21, 2025. In conjunction with the results, the cut-offs and the final answer key were also released.
This year, a total of 1,019,751 candidates registered for the examination, with 752,007 candidates actually taking the test. Among those who appeared, 446,849 were female candidates, 305,122 were male candidates, and 36 were candidates identifying as third-gender.
A total of 188,333 candidates successfully qualified for the examination, including 5,269 candidates who qualified for both JRF and Assistant Professor positions, 54,885 candidates who qualified for Assistant Professor roles and admission to Ph.D. programs, and 128,179 candidates who qualified solely for Ph.D. programs.

- A new page will appear where candidates can access the subject-wise and category-wise cut-offs.
- Download the page and retain a hard copy for future reference.
The UGC NET June examination took place from June 25, 2025, to June 29, 2025. The provisional answer key was made available on the website on July 5, 2025, and the objection window was opened on July 6, 2025, allowing candidates to contest the answer key.
