National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has postponed the NTSE stage 1 and 2 exams 2021-22. The revised schedule for National Talent Search Examination 2021-22 will be released soon by NCERT.
The official notification released by NCERT reads, ‘It is for the information of all concern that the scheduled Stage-I and Stage-II examination of National Talent Search Examination-2021-22, which was placed in the public domain on December 2, 2021, is postponed due to administrative reasons.
Most of the states have released the postponement notification for NTSE 2021-22 examinations. The NTSE stage 1 exams in Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands were scheduled to be conducted on January 15, 2022, while the stage 1 examination of other states and Union territories were scheduled for January 16, 2022.
The NTSE stage 2 examination which is postponed now, was scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2022. NTSE stage 1 exam is conducted by the respective states. Students who successfully qualify for the stage 1 examination will be eligible for the stage 2 exam. The NTSE stage 2 examination is the national level examination, conducted by NCERT. The students selected in stage 2 will be eligible for the NTSE scholarship.
