Pondicherry University has started the Ph.D. admission 2023 process. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will have to appear in the Pondicherry University PhD entrance examination to be considered for admission for the academic year 2023-24.
Pondicherry University application form will have to be filled out through the official website pondiuni.edu.in. Unreserved category students will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 and SC, ST should make a payment of Rs 500. Those under the physically challenged category and transgenders will be exempted from paying registration fees.
The last date to submit the application form for the various Ph.D. programs offered at the university is June 29, 2023. Candidates will have to opt for 3 exam centers in the order of preference in the form. Based on the choices filled in, the university will allot the exam center to appear in the entrance exam.
As per the selection criteria, 70% weightage will be given to the Pondicherry University Ph.D. entrance exam and 30% to a personal interview and academic record.
