The Railway Recruitment Boards has announced the schedule for the RRB Group D Exam 2025. Candidates intending to take the written examination can find the exam dates on the official websites of the regional RRBs where they have submitted their applications.
The computer-based test for various positions in Level 1 of the 7th CPC is set to commence on November 17, 2025, and will conclude at the end of December 2025.
The duration of the exam is 90 minutes, during which a total of 100 questions will be presented. This includes 25 questions from General Science, 30 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, and 20 questions from General Awareness and Current Affairs. There will be a negative marking system in place, with 1/3 of a mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
The minimum qualifying marks for shortlisting across different communities are as follows: UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC (non-creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, and ST-30%.
For eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by a Scribe, the examination duration will be extended to 120 minutes.
The link to view the exam city and date, as well as to download the travel authority for SC/ST candidates, will be activated on the official websites of all RRBs approximately 10 days before the exam date. Call letters will be available for download around 4 days prior to the exam date specified in the exam city and date notification link.
The examination will be conducted as a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). However, the Railway Administration retains the authority to conduct the CBT in either a single or multi-stage format. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.
