The Railway Recruitment Board has published the provisional schedule for the computer-based test concerning Ministerial and Isolated category positions. Candidates wishing to participate in the examination can find the announcement on the official website of their respective regional RRBs.
The computer-based test is scheduled to take place from September 10 to September 12, 2025. The format of the question paper will be objective multiple choice. For the single-stage CBT, the duration will be 90 minutes for 100 questions, while candidates with disabilities availing the Scribe facility will have 120 minutes.
A total of 100 questions will be presented, with a total of 100 marks assigned. Each question carries one mark. There will be a penalty for incorrect answers, with 1/3 of a mark deducted for each wrong response.
The link for the exam city will be activated 10 days before the examination date on the official websites of all RRBs. E-call letters will be accessible for download 4 days prior to the exam date as indicated in the exam city and date notification link.
The recruitment process will consist of a Single Stage CBT, a Performance Test/Teaching Skill Test, a Translation Test (if applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in the CBT and the Performance Test/Teaching Skill Test, as well as the Translation Test (if applicable). It is important to note that the examination may occasionally be conducted in multiple sessions. In cases where multiple sessions of the CBT are held, the scores will be normalized. Consequently, the shortlisting of candidates for the subsequent stage/Document Verification will rely on the normalized scores.
