The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL skill test 2019 dates in online mode on the official website at ssc.nic.in, As per the official notification of SSC, the SSC CGL skill test is scheduled to be conducted on September 15 and 16, 2021 across the nation. Earlier, SSC released the SSC CGL 2019 cut-off for the various posts. Candidates who qualified in the SSC CGL 2019 written exam are required to appear in the SSC CGL 2019 skill test.
About the exam
The SSC CGL skill test is conducted to examine speed and accuracy. The total time duration of the SSC CGL skill test is 15 minutes and to qualify for the test, students need to press around 2000 keys with precision. The SSC CGL test is qualifying in nature and conducted for those candidates who apply for the Tax Assistant in Central Excise and Income Tax. According to the previous year’s statistics, the SSC CGL skill test is quite tough and students need to type with a speed of 8000 key depression in an hour.
Selection Procedure
As per the selection procedure of SSC CGL, candidates need to appear in the three stages of the written test where Tier 1 and Tier 2 is the computer-based test and Tier 3 is the descriptive test. Candidates who qualified in the written test are required to appear in the last stage of the SSC CGL selection procedure that is Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)/Skill Test/ Document Verification (DV). The final allotment will be provided to those candidates who qualify in all the rounds.
