The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on September 6 released the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) tier-1 result of the 2024 exams. The official website to check and download the SSC CHSL 2024 tier-1 result is ssc.gov.in. The shortlisted candidates will now have to appear for the tier-2 exam.
The SSC CHSL tier-1 cut-off marks have also been made available at the official website. The normalised scores have been used to fix the cut-off. The minimum qualifying marks in the tier 1 exam for candidates belonging to UR is 30 per cent, for OBC/ EWS, it is 25 per cent and for all other categories, the minimum qualifying marks is 20 per cent. Separate cut-off marks have been fixed in SSC CHSL tier 1 for different posts – DEO, DEO grade A and LDC/ JSA.
While the cut-off marks in lower division clerk (LDC) and junior secretariar assistant (JSA) for candidates belonging to UR is 157.36168, it is 139.68408 for SC, 129.44568 for ST, 156.61665 for OBC and 150.51731 for EWS. As many as 39,835 candidates are shortlisted for tier 2 exam of LDC and JSA posts and 1,630 candidates are available for DEO and DEO grade A posts.The result of 23 candidates have been withheld on “various reasons”, SSC said while announcing the result. Results of seven candidates have not processed because of their debarment from SSC exam or cancellation of candidature, it added.
The marks and final answer keys of the qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the SSC website shortly, a statement on the ssc.gov.in website said. The SSC CHSL exam was held from July 1 to 11.
