The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that candidates will have the opportunity to edit their details in the One Time Registration (OTR) profiles from today until August 31, 2025.
Candidates intending to participate in recruitment examinations organized by the commission, who have already created OTR profiles but need to make modifications, can do so at ssc.gov.in.
“All candidates are hereby notified that the OTR editing facility will be accessible from 14.08.2025 to 31.08.2025. Candidates wishing to amend or correct their information are encouraged to take advantage of this facility within the specified time frame. Once details are submitted, they will be considered for future examinations, and candidates will not be allowed to modify OTR details after the aforementioned period,” stated the SSC.
For any inquiries, candidates may reach out to the SSC help desk via telephone or email. The commission has indicated that representations submitted in physical form will not be accepted.
Understanding OTR in SSC recruitment examinations
One Time Registration is a standardized process that enables candidates to apply for SSC recruitment examinations using the same login credentials, thereby eliminating the necessity to register for each examination individually. The steps involved in creating an OTR profile include:
- Providing personal information: Candidate’s name, identification, and contact information.
- Creating a password: Establish a new password.
- Filling in additional information: Candidate’s nationality, address, and educational background.
- Declaration: Confirmation of the candidate’s details.
In the meantime, the commission has postponed the Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGLE), 2025, which was originally set to take place on August 13, 2025.
The SSC has stated that it will perform a thorough evaluation of the examination platform and its operational readiness. The CGL exam is now scheduled to commence in the first week of September 2025, and a revised timetable will be published on the commission’s website shortly.
