The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the exam city information slips for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D skill test. Candidates can access and download these slips from the official website, ssc.gov.in. According to the official notification, the admit cards (also referred to as admission certificates) will be made available two days prior to the examination.
The SSC stated, “The ‘Admission Certificate’ and ‘Scribe’s Entry Pass (for own scribe)’ for the aforementioned examination will tentatively be accessible for download two days before the examination date. Candidates can retrieve these documents through the designated login module on the Commission’s website (https://ssc.gov.in/) in a similar manner.”
Candidates who have chosen to use their own scribe must register and provide their scribe’s details on the Commission’s website by April 1 at 11:59 PM.
The SSC further advised that during the examination, the Commission will retain a copy of the Admission Certificate. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to obtain and keep an additional copy of their Admission Certificate for future reference.
For any inquiries regarding the Admission Certificate, candidates should consult the examination notice dated June 24, 2024.
The skill test for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2024, is scheduled for April 16 and 17, 2025.
Candidates who have successfully completed the Computer Based Examination will be required to participate in the Stenography skill test. They will receive a 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi (as selected in the online application) at a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm) for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 wpm for Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
Candidates opting for the stenography test in Hindi will be expected to learn English stenography and vice versa after their appointment; failure to do so may result in their probation not being cleared by the appointing departments or organizations.
