Telangana education department has issued guidelines on the resumption of classes for class 9-12 students. School students from class 9-12 will resume physical classes in not more than 20 in one class from February 1, 2021.
According to the guidelines, schools will be functioning as per regular school timings wherein students and the school staff have to mandatorily wear masks, maintain social distancing and sanitize self and the school premises regularly. Apart from class 9-12, no other classes shall reopen physically for students.
For students, attendance is not mandatory, as per the Ministry’s guidelines for reopening States, the department said. Online classes would continue for those who choose not to go back to school.
Staggered timings need to be maintained for entry and exit, noon meals, transportation, laboratory use amongst different college infrastructure.The managements have been requested to ascertain a medical plan for each college/hostel whereby close by major well-being care facilities, isolation rooms, counselors, and so forth are recognized.
