The Department of School Education in Hyderabad will conclude the registration process for the TG TET January 2026 on November 29, 2025. Candidates interested in applying for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test scheduled for January 2026 can access the direct link via the official TGTET website at tgtet.aptonline.in.
Hall tickets will be available for download starting December 27, 2025. The TGTET examination is set to take place from January 3 to January 31, 2025, conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9 am to 11:30 am and the second shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
Both Paper I and Paper II will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 150 marks. The question paper will cover topics including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
The question paper will be bilingual, featuring English followed by the chosen Language-I for all languages except Sanskrit. For candidates selecting Sanskrit, the questions will be presented in Telugu followed by Sanskrit in Devanagari script.

- Click on the registration link for TG TET January 2026 available on the homepage.
- A new page will appear where candidates must input their registration details.
- Click on submit and complete the application form.
- Proceed to make the application fee payment.
- Click on submit and download the page.
- Retain a hard copy for future reference.
The examination fee is ₹750 for either Paper I or Paper II, and ₹1000 for candidates appearing for both Papers I and II.
