The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu is set to announce the results of the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2024 online. To get a scorecard visit the official website at dge.tn.gov.in, after the announcement to check their selection status. The NMMS examination in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2023-24 was conducted on February 3rd for Class 8 students studying in government and government-aided schools. A total of 2,25,490 students participated in the examination.
Individual results can be checked using the registration number and date of birth. A consolidated list of selected candidates will also be published on the DGE website for reference. The NMMS is a national scholarship scheme for economically disadvantaged candidates wherein the selected candidates will get a scholarship of ₹12,000 per year to pursue their careers.
These students enrolled in state government, government-aided, or local body schools must have an annual household income of less than ₹3,50,000 to be eligible for the TN NMMS scholarship exam.
