The release of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) rank list has been postponed to September 14. It was originally supposed to be out on September 4. It will now be out on Tuesday at the official website at tneaonline.org. The candidates can check their list on the official portal.
To check their ranks, students need their login credentials. On the basis of their ranks, the students will be invited for counselling. On the basis of these ranks, students are admitted into the various self-financing and government- aided engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, which has one of the largest numbers of engineering colleges in the country.
Candidates must note that Seat allotment is purely based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam. Admission is done on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam. The registered candidates are allotted the ranks on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.
The TNEA merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in these subjects – maths, physics, and chemistry which is reduced to 200.
