The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Tamil Nadu has announced the provisional allotment results for Round 2 of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA). Candidates involved in the counselling process can view the tentative allotment results on the official website at tneaonline.org.
To access the allotment results, candidates must log in to their accounts using their credentials.
According to TNEA guidelines, candidates are required to confirm their allotment by July 30, 2025, at 5 PM; otherwise, the allotment will be considered cancelled.
The official website states, “Tentative allotment has been released for all eligible second round candidates; we request you to log in and confirm the allotment by 30-07-2025, 5 PM. If you do not confirm your allotment, it will be deemed cancelled.”
As per the official timeline, the provisional allotment for candidates who accept and join, as well as those who accept and wish to move upward, will be released on July 31, 2025, before 10 AM.
The joining date for candidates who accept and join colleges, along with the reporting date for those who accept and wish to move upward at the TNEA facilitation centre, will take place from July 31, 2025, at 10 AM until August 4, 2025, at 5 PM.
The provisional allotment for candidates who opted for upward movement will be published on August 7, 2025, before 10 AM.
It is noteworthy that the TNEA rank list was made public on June 27, 2025.
