The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has announced the TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Results for 2025 on its official website. Candidates who participated in the examination can verify and download their results from the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
The result PDF contains the list of candidates who have been provisionally selected to take part in the Main Examinations, which are scheduled to occur from December 1 to 4, 2025.
The TNPSC Group 1 preliminary examination took place on June 15, 2025. This exam functioned solely as a screening test, and the scores achieved by candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be considered for determining their final merit order.
Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to pay an examination fee of ₹200 to participate in the TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam 2025, and they must upload scanned copies of documents supporting the claims made in their online application from September 3 to 12, 2025.
It is important to note that the selection process consists of three consecutive stages: the Preliminary exam, the Main exam, and the Interview. The final selection will be based on the cumulative marks obtained by candidates in the Main Examination Paper II, Paper III, Paper IV, and the Interview, in accordance with the rules governing the reservation of appointments.
