Students who registered for undergraduate admissions across nearly 978 participating colleges in Telangana can now check their results through the DOST candidate portal.
This allotment covers various UG programs, including B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BBM, BSW, and BCA, offered by six major state universities: Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, and Satavahana University.

Step-by-Step: How to Check TS DOST Allotment Result
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to dost.cgg.gov.in.
- Access Candidate Login: Click on the “Candidate Login” link available on the home page.
- Enter Credentials: Use your DOST ID and PIN/Password to sign in.
- View Allotment: Locate the link for “Phase 1 Seat Allotment”. Your allotted college and course details will appear.
- Download: Download the seat allotment letter and save a digital copy for further procedures.
Post-Allotment: What is “Online Self-Reporting”?
If you are satisfied with the seat you have been allotted, you must complete the online self-reporting process. Failing to do this within the deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of your seat.
- Reporting Window: May 15 to May 23, 2026.
- Action Required: Log in to your portal and pay the Seat Reservation Fee (amount varies based on the college and category).
- Confirmation: After payment, a “Self-Reporting Confirmation” will be generated. Note that you do not need to visit the college physically during this phase.
What to do if you are Not Satisfied with the Allotment?
Candidates who wish to try for a better college or course in the next round have two options:
- Slide/Float Option: Complete the self-reporting (pay the fee) for your Phase 1 seat to secure it, but participate in Phase 2 Web Options. If you get a better seat in Phase 2, the Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled and the fee is adjusted.
- Fresh Phase 2 Registration: If you were not allotted any seat in Phase 1, you can participate in Phase 2 by registering between May 15 and May 25, 2026. The registration fee for Phase 2 is ₹400 (Phase 1 was ₹200).

While the current process is online, you will need the following for physical reporting to colleges in June:
- DOST Seat Allotment Letter.
- Self-Reporting Confirmation.
- Transfer Certificate (TC).
- SSC (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) Mark Sheets.
- Caste/Income/EWS Certificate (if applicable).
- Study/Bonafide Certificates for the last 7 years.
