The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure. Although the council has already initiated the admission procedure on the official website.
Candidates must go through the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2022.
Age Limit (as of December 31)- The candidate’s age must be 16 years only for BTech admission. However, for admission in BTech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, or Food Technology, the candidate must be 17 years of age.
Local & Non-Local Status- Candidates residing in any institute of Telangana for four consecutive years will be considered residents. However, candidates not satisfying the above will be non-local residents.
Admission Weightage- TS EAMCET 2022 score will decide the final admission process. Moreover, 25 % weightage of intermediate marks shall not be taken into account.
Nationality-The candidate must be a national resident of India. Also, he/she must satisfy the local/non-local status of Telangana.
Educational Qualification Candidates must have passed class 12th or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Qualifying marks in TS EAMCET 2022
Candidates must obtain at least 25% of the maximum marks in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam to be considered in the rank list. However, there are no minimum marks for reserved category candidates.
