TSPSC Group 1 Results 2025: On March 10, 2025, the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) officially released the results of the Group 1 services recruitment examination on its website, tspsc.gov.in.
The Group 1 mains examination took place from October 21 to October 21, with sessions held daily from 2 PM to 5 PM. The mains examination consisted of seven descriptive papers.
Following the preliminary examination, a total of 31,382 candidates qualified to participate in the mains examination. This recruitment initiative by TSPSC aims to fill 563 vacancies within the Group 1 category in the state. TSPSC Group 1 Results 2025: Commission’s Tie Resolution Policy
According to the policy established by TSPSC, in instances where multiple candidates achieved identical scores in the Main Examination (Conventional Type), preference was given to local candidates. Should a tie persist, the candidates’ dates of birth were considered, with the older candidate receiving a higher rank.
If ties continued to exist after this criterion, the commission prioritized candidates based on their scores in papers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 sequentially until the ties were resolved.
In cases where ties remained unresolved despite these measures, the commission evaluated the date of passing the requisite qualifying examination, followed by the percentage of marks obtained in that examination, the candidate’s higher qualifications, the date of obtaining such qualifications, and the percentage of marks in the higher qualification until all ties were settled.
