The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) will start the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025 registration today at its official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in at 1 pm. The examination for UCEED is scheduled for January 19 between 9 am and noon in a single shift.
The last date to register for the UCEED is October 31 with no late fees. The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category, and born on or after October 1, 1995, if belonging to the SC, ST, or PwD category.
Students from all streams are eligible for UCEED. Here are the important dates of the examination:

“A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12(or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 OR 2025 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2025. Students from all streams (science, commerce, and humanities) are eligible. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class 12) in 2023 or earlier are not eligible to appear in UCEED 2025,” read the information brochure.
A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and those two shall be in consecutive years. The UCEED score is valid for only one year. Students from all streams are eligible for UCEED. Here are the important dates of the examination:

Once the examination is conducted, provisional answer keys, final key, and cut-off will be announced.

IIT Bombay conducts the exam under the guidance of the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee 2024 (hereafter referred to as the UCI Committee). The examination verifies admissions for the degree of Bachelor of Design (B.Des) into the IITs of 27 cities in India. UCEED 2025 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor’s Degree programme in Design (BDes) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ), must appear for the exam.
