The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET 2021 entrance exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor. The enterence exam is going to be conducted from May 2 to 17, 2021. UGC NET 2021 exam will have two papers.
The education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, announced the UGC NET 2021 exam dates on Twitter. Paper 1 of UGC NET 2021 will be 100 marks and candidates should try to answer at least 50 questions. UGC NET 2021 paper 2 will be 200 marks and candidates will be expected to answer 100 questions.
In the official circular, it is mentioned that the UGC NET 2021 application form has been released on the official website and the last date to apply for the is March 2, 2021.
About the UGC NET 2021 Exam
The UGC NET 2021 exam is conducted in computer-based mode and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship is awarded to the candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam. Those candidates who clear the UGC NET exam for Assistant Professorship, will not be eligible for JRF.
