The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2025 session. Candidates who are set to take the exam on December 31 can retrieve their admit cards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. According to the public notice, the UGC-NET December 2025 will be administered in a computer-based test (CBT) format at examination centres across the country, encompassing 85 subjects.
The examination is planned for December 31, January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. Each examination day will consist of two shifts: the morning session from 9 am to noon and the afternoon session from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET 2025: Instructions for downloading admit cards
Step 1: Navigate to the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link titled ‘UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card’
Step 3: Input your UGC NET December 2025 application number, date of birth, and the security pin shown on the screen
Step 4: Submit the information and download the UGC NET December 2025 admit card
To access the UGC NET December 2025 admit card, candidates are required to log in using their application number and date of birth. The admit card will contain vital information such as the roll number, candidate’s name, application number, reporting time, exam centre details, examination schedule, and crucial instructions for the exam day.
The admit card will explicitly state both the reporting time and the exam start time. Candidates are required to arrive at the centre at least 60 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam to complete entry procedures, as late arrivals will not be allowed once the gates are closed.
UGC NET 2025: Marking Scheme
(a) To respond to a question, the candidate must select one option as the correct answer.
(b) Each question is worth 02 (two) marks.
(c) For every correct answer, the candidate will receive 02 (two) marks.
(d) There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
(e) No marks will be awarded for questions that are unanswered or unanswered.
