Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has decided to conduct exams from June 10, 2021. Earlier the exam was scheduled for commencing from June 2. In the state of Maharashtra, around 40,000 students’ undergraduate exams are due in the medical courses. This is the third time the Medical exams 2021 for students have been postponed.
The examinations of MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, and B Sc (nursing). The degree examinations in nursing include the first, second, and third-year examinations. In addition to these medical degree examinations, it has been decided to conduct exams of Modern Mid-Level Service Provider Course as well as Certificate Course in Pharmacology.
Minister for Medical Education Amit Deshmukh said on Wednesday. All the undergraduate exams for MBBS and other health sciences, scheduled on June 2, will now be held between June 10 and 30. Earlier, the exams in these categories, which involve 40,000 students, were scheduled for April 19. Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
The state-enforced restricted lockdown till June 1. In the wake of these restrictions, it was felt that students would have faced problems traveling to their exam centers. Students are notified that the exams for the Health Sciences course in Maharashtra will be held offline which means students have to physically report to the exam center on the said date.
Earlier, Deshmukh held a meeting with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) authorities, including its Exam Controller Ajit Pathak. After the meeting, Deshmukh said, “The exams for undergraduate – MBBS and other health sciences will take place on June 10 to 30.
