The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released an updated schedule for certain papers of the 2026 High School and Intermediate examinations, which includes adjustments to the timing of the Hindi and Elementary Hindi papers on February 18, as well as the rescheduling of the Intermediate Sanskrit paper.
According to the updated timetable issued by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, these changes impact only three papers, while all other examinations will proceed according to the previously announced schedule.
In accordance with the revised schedule, both the Hindi and Elementary Hindi papers for Class 10 will now take place in the morning shift (8:30 am to 11:45 am) on February 18, 2026. Previously, the Hindi paper was set for the morning shift, while the Elementary Hindi paper was scheduled for the afternoon shift on the same day.
For Class 12 (Intermediate) students, both the General Hindi and Hindi papers will now occur in the afternoon shift (2:00 pm to 5:15 pm) on February 18, 2026. Earlier, the General Hindi paper was planned for the morning, with the Hindi paper in the afternoon shift on February 18.
Additionally, the Class 12 Sanskrit examination, which was initially scheduled for February 20 in the morning shift, will now be held on March 12, 2026, in the afternoon shift (2:00 pm to 5:15 pm).
The board has clarified that aside from these changes, all other papers for the High School and Intermediate examinations will be conducted as per the previously announced timetable.
