The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the schedule for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) written examination for the year 2025. Candidates who have been shortlisted for the Interview/Personality Test can find their roll numbers on the official website upsc.gov.in.
The Combined Geo-Scientist Main written examination was conducted by UPSC on June 21 and 22, 2025. According to UPSC, the candidature of the shortlisted candidates is provisional and contingent upon their eligibility being confirmed in all aspects.
Candidates are required to present their original certificates during the personality test. UPSC will provide a 15-day period for the shortlisted candidates to update their educational qualification status. The DAF (Detailed Application Form) window will be accessible from July 29 to August 12, closing at 6:00 PM on upsconline.gov.in.
Candidates who lacked the necessary qualifications at the time of their application must revise their information and upload the required documents within this timeframe.
Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to update their correspondence/postal address, higher qualifications, achievements in various fields, employment details, service experience, service allocation, and service preferences (if eligible for both categories of posts).
UPSC has indicated that the interview schedule will be made available on the commission’s website shortly. Candidates will be informed of the exact date of their interview. The commission will not entertain any requests regarding the scheduling of the interview or personality test.
“The mark sheets for candidates will be published on the Commission’s website within 15 days following the announcement of the final results (after the Personality Test) and will be accessible for a duration of 30 days. Candidates can retrieve their mark sheets by entering their Roll Numbers and date of birth. However, printed/hard copies of the mark sheets will be issued by UPSC to candidates upon specific request, provided it is accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope,” stated UPSC.
