Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has initiate the registration window for the Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 today January 22, 2025. The commission has released the notice on the official website too. Candidates interested in applying for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025 can download the notification from the official website at upsc.gov.in.
According to the revised UPSC annual calendar 2025, the Civil Services preliminary examination will be conducted on May 25, 2025. Additionally, the last date to apply for the civil services (preliminary) examinations is February 11, 2025.The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will consist of two papers that will consist of objective type or multiple choice questions.
Vacancy details:The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 979 which include 38 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category, i.e. 12 Vacancies for candidates of (a) blindness and low vision; 7 Vacancies for (b) deaf and hard of hearing; 10 Vacancies for (c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 9 Vacancies for (e) multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (c) including deaf-blindness.
Minimum Education Qualification:
UPSC CSE Exam 2025 Notification Live: A candidate must hold a Graduate degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
