The UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 registration deadline has been extended by the Union Public Service Commission. The direct application link for CS(P)-2025 and IFoS(P)-2025 is available on UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in.
The deadline to submit the application has been moved to February 18, 2025. The time for corrections will be open from February 19 until February 25, 2025.
According to the official notice, “The deadline for submitting applications for CS(P)-2025 and IFoS(P)-2025 has been extended to February 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM.” Additionally, the seven-day correction window will now be open until seven days after the application window closes, which is from February 19, 2025, to February 25, 2025.
The application deadline for the 2025 Civil Services (Preliminary) test was previously February 11, 2025, but it has since been extended.
The exam application is available at upsconline.gov.in. They have to make a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile before they may apply. Those who have previously made an OTR profile can fill out the application form directly, and the profile is valid for life.
There is a 100 naira application fee. The application price is waived for candidates who are female, SC, ST, or have a benchmark disability. It is recommended that the fee be paid online.
The exam will be held this year to fill about 979 positions.
