The Union Public Service Commission started the online process of UPSC Indian Administrative Service Detailed Application Form 1 (IAS DAF 1). Candidates who qualified for the preliminary examination can fill UPSC IAS DAF 1. The last date to fill out DAF is July 19 at 6 PM.
Earlier, the commission declared the preliminary examination result on June 12. Qualified candidates must log in through the OTR portal to access and submit the DAF 1.

It is important to note that the submission of DAF 1 does not automatically guarantee admission to the civil services Main exam 2023. The e-admit card, along with the timetable for the examination, will be uploaded on the UPSC website for eligible candidates approximately three to four weeks before the commencement of the exam.
Candidates are advised to immediately inform the commission of any changes in their postal address, email address or mobile number after submitting the form.
