The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination (IES/ISS) 2021 timetable. Interested candidates can check the timetable by visitting the official website at upsc.gov.in.
As per the UPSC Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service 2021 timetable, the exam will be conducted on July 16, 17 and 18, 2021. The shift timings for the exam for both these days have been provided by the UPSC.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service to recruit candidates for Group A posts. The posts are of Senior Time Scale (STS)/ Deputy Director/ Assistant Economic Adviser/ Senior Research Officer etc. UPSC conducts the IES/ISS exam every year.
Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in the personality test/interview. The interview will be conducted for 200 marks. The questions asked in the UPSC IES/ISS personality test will be based on the subjects like economics, finance, statistics, etc. During the interview, the panel will be evaluating the candidate’s mental abilities and will also be asking situation-based questions.
