The Union Public Service Commission has issued a notice regarding the activation of helpline toll-free number 1800118711 for candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
The primary aim of this number is to provide all kinds of assistance to reserved category candidates who have applied for various UPSC exams or will do so soon. The move to provide this number comes at a time when the country is celebrating the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence.
The UPSC helpline number will be operational on all working days (during office hours). Also, candidates who are from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD category, can call up this number and seek help if they are facing any problem while filling the application form for any of the UPSC entrance or recruitment exams. Also if such candidates have already filled the form, then also they can call up this number and get their queries answered.
