The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) has issued the counselling notification for WBJEE-2024. Eligible candidates who have secured a rank in JEE Main or WBJEE can apply for e-counselling at the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
The WBJEE counselling process includes various stages such as registration, choice filling for college and course, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification, and many more. Furthermore, candidates will be allotted a seat, as per the seat matrix and participating college list available on the official website at wbjeeb.in
The result for WBJEE 2024 was declared on June 6 at 3 pm, and a total of 1,12,963 students were able to qualify for the exam. They are advised to fill in and lock at least 20 preferences.
After seat locking, the first round allocation result will be announced as per the issued schedule. The student is requested to make a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000 to lock their choice or to be even considered for upgradation. Candidate must very carefully while selecting their preference during choice filling and they are later provided with the option to upgrade if their first preference is not allotted. They are advised to fill in and lock at least 20 preferences.
