West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has issued instructions for higher secondary (HS) or Class 12 practical and project examination 2024. The West Bengal Board Class 12 practical exams will begin from December 1 till December 15.
The West Bengal Council will distribute the blank answer scripts and question papers to the schools from the distribution centers on November 29. West Bengal Class 12th board exam 2024 will be held from February 16 to 29. The Class 12 exam date of the West Bengal board was announced in May this year.
The board has also issued guidelines to enter a project and practical marks on the official website, wbchseexam.wb.gov.in/exisMarks. Schools will also conduct practical exams, including the Music (MUSC) and Health and Physical Education (PHED), as permitted by the Council. It instructed that the teachers of the concerned subject will only be permitted to conduct the practical examination.
In case, a teacher from the concerned school is not available, a teacher from the neighboring school can be appointed for the practical examination. However, the school should request the permission of the concerned Regional Office of Council.
A candidate who has already passed the practical examination in the previous year is not required to appear in the practical examination once again. The answer scripts will only be considered valid if it has the signature of the concerned examiner.
The council said that the evaluated practical answer scripts need not be submitted immediately, but the head of the school should keep it safe till further instructions.
The answer scripts in the order of registration number will be collected by the council as and when required. The details of the practical marks of Class 12 students should be uploaded on the official website between December 4 to December 31 along with the project marks.
