The results for the annual Madhyamik Class 10 examinations in West Bengal for 2025 will be announced by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on May 2. The WBBSE plans to declare the Class 10 results at 9 am. Students will be able to check their results on Friday, May 2 at 9 am. WB West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2025: Date and time confirmed
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will officially announce the Class 10th Madhyamik 2025 results on May 2 at 9 am. Students who sat for and registered for the examination can view their results on wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.
The Class 10 board examinations in West Bengal saw a higher number of female candidates compared to males, with 5,55,950 girls out of a total of 9,84,753 candidates.
The theory examinations were conducted from February 10 to February 22, while assessments for Physical Education, Social Service, and Work Education occurred from March 19 to April 2. The exams were held in a single shift beginning at 10:45 am and concluding at 2 pm, allowing for the first 15 minutes as a question paper reading period.
Students who need to improve their scores in certain subjects will have the option to take supplementary exams, with the dates and schedule to be announced later. The provisional scorecards for the WB Madhyamik Class 10th results published online will require students to obtain their original marksheets from their schools.
WB West Bengal Madhyamik 2025: Previous year result patterns
Last year, on May 2, the WBBSE announced the Class 10 board results, reporting a pass rate of 83.61 percent. Kalimpong achieved the highest performance in the state, with an overall pass rate of 96.26 percent. The top scorer in the state, Chandrachur Sen from Cooch Behar, attained an impressive score of 99 percent.
Conversely, the 2023 WBBSE Class 10 results were released on May 19 and exhibited an overall pass rate of 86.15 percent. Shyamapriya Guru scored 98.86 percent, ranking first in the examinations.
In 2022, results were unveiled on June 3, with male candidates achieving a pass rate of 88.59 percent, while female students recorded an 85 percent pass rate. The cumulative pass rate that year was 86.60 percent.
Results were released on July 20 in the 2021 academic year. A total of 79 candidates scored 697 marks out of 700, and approximately 90 percent of the candidates passed with the first division.
