The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has announced the West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result on its official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
On the WBMCC portal, candidates can access the revised provisional merit list located in the ‘Download’ section. In addition to the allotment result, the committee has provided instructions regarding reporting and admission for candidates in Round 1.
Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to report to the designated institutes with their original documents, necessary fee, and bond to secure their admission. For those assigned seats in private medical colleges, the admission process will take place at various government medical colleges in Kolkata.
WB NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Reporting Schedule
According to the notice, the schedule for Round 1 reporting and admission is outlined as follows:
—August 23: 12 noon to 5 pm
—August 25 to 26: 10 am to 4 pm (server time)
WB NEET UG 2025 Round 2: Counselling dates
The WBMCC has confirmed that the dates for Round 2 counselling will remain the same. Key dates for registration and result publication are as follows:
—Online registration: August 27 to 29
—Verification of candidates: August 28 to 30
—Seat surrender at allotted college level: August 30 (10 am to 2 pm)
—Publication of list and seat matrix: September 1
—Choice filling: September 1 to 3
—Seat allotment result: September 8
—College reporting: September 9 to 11
Earlier this week, the WBMCC had unexpectedly halted the counselling and admission process, just two days after releasing the revised provisional merit list. Four days later, the committee republished the revised list, which included 11,178 eligible candidates for choice filling.
In a separate announcement, the WBMCC also specified that the admission kiosk for Sanaka Institute of Dental Sciences will not be conducted on its own campus but rather at Dr R Ahmed Dental College and Hospital.
