The Common Admission Test, also known as CAT 2025, is scheduled to take place on November 30, with the online application process commencing on August 1 at 10 am via iimcat.ac.in. This year, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will serve as the organizing institute.
The CAT 2025 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format across three sessions, and a detailed notification will be published shortly on the official website. The registration fee for CAT 2025 is set at ₹1,300 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, while all other candidates will be required to pay ₹2,600.
Key dates for the CAT exam 2025 are as follows:

- Exam date: November 30
- Results are anticipated in the first week of January 2026 (tentative).
This year, the examination will be conducted in approximately 170 cities, allowing candidates to choose five cities based on their preferences.
CAT 2025 is intended for admission to postgraduate and fellow/doctorate programs offered by IIMs and other participating institutions.
