The Staff Selection Commission has published the tentative vacancies list for the SSC MTS & Havaldar Exam 2025. Candidates who have registered for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 can view the notice on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
The tentative number of vacancies for MTS is 4375, while the vacancy for Havaldar has been increased from 1075 to 1089.
According to the official notice, “Candidates are advised to refer to the notice regarding the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, which was published by the Commission on 26.06.2025. The tentative vacancies for MTS stated in paragraph 2.1 of the Examination Notice should be understood as 4375, and the vacancy for Havaldar should be understood as 1089 instead of 1075. All other terms and conditions of the Notice dated 26.06.2025 will remain unchanged.”
The correction window will be open from July 29 to July 31, 2025. Candidates will have the opportunity to re-submit their applications after making necessary corrections or changes only in the online application data as per their needs.
The Commission will impose a uniform correction fee of ₹200/- for making corrections and re-submitting the modified or corrected application for the first time, and ₹500/- for making corrections and re-submitting the modified or corrected application for the second time. These correction fees will apply to all candidates, regardless of their gender or category. Payment of the correction fees can only be made online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.
The computer-based examination is scheduled to take place from September 20 to October 24, 2025.
