NEW DELHI — The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will officially close the online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated Class 12 answer books on May 25, 2026. Students wishing to inspect their evaluated answer sheets must complete their submissions before the system shuts down tonight.
Applications are being accepted exclusively through the official CBSE portal at pvr.cbseit.in.
Fee Reduction and Payment Regulations
In a student-friendly move, the board has reduced the processing fee significantly. The registration charge is now set at ₹100 per answer book, down from the previous fee structure of ₹700.
The board specified that processing fees must be paid strictly via online transaction methods, including:
- Credit Cards
- Debit Cards
- Net Banking
Offline modes of payment—such as demand drafts (DD), postal orders, cheques, money orders, or physical cash—will not be integrated into the system and will lead to automatic rejection of the application.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply Online
Eligible candidates can complete the verification request by following these steps:
- Navigate to the official CBSE verification portal:
pvr.cbseit.in. - Select the designated active link for the Class 12 Scanned Copy Application.
- Provide essential registration and login credentials to access the form.

Upcoming Re-evaluation Policy
According to the official circular, the formal schedule for accepting complete re-evaluation requests will be announced shortly. To ensure fair opportunity, the CBSE portal will remain open for at least two days after the final batch of requested scanned answer books has been delivered to applicants.
Furthermore, students who wish to obtain digital copies of their answer sheets purely for historical or archival reference will be given an independent opportunity immediately after the ongoing formal re-evaluation process draws to a close. Additional procedural notifications will be posted incrementally on the primary CBSE platform.
