The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), located in Cuttack, Odisha, is expected to announce the Class 12 results around mid-May. According to local news reports, the CHSE Odisha Plus Two results may be released between May 10 and May 15. The second evaluation stage for the Odisha +2 answer sheets is set to commence soon. This year, the Council has implemented a two-phase evaluation system for the answer sheets.
While overseeing the examination, the controller of exams for the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Prasanta Kumar Parida, mentioned that preparations for announcing the Class 12 results would be completed within 45 days following the exams.
Local media has reported that the evaluation process will involve a dual-checking of the answer scripts as per the timeline provided by CHSE Odisha. For the evaluation, the CHSE has recruited 16,000 teachers from state schools to assess the +2 answer sheets. The first phase of evaluation was conducted from April 2 to April 14, while the second phase will continue until April 28.
This year, CHSE Odisha has established 148 evaluation centers, including 78 offline centers. Additionally, approximately 70 online centers are utilizing digital methods to assess the CHSE answer scripts of students. Once the results are declared, the official CHSE Odisha websites – chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in – will activate the link for the Class 12 Odisha board results.
More than 3.93 lakh students took part in the HS or Class 12 theory examinations across 1,276 centers from February 18 to March 27.
After a meeting with the media, controller of exams Prasanta Kumar Parida stated, “This year, we have opted to assign special squads to 35 locations in 30 districts of Odisha ahead of time. Their identities will remain confidential, and they will carry out surprise inspections at the examination centers.”
Moreover, during the Class 10 board examinations, there was an inconsistency in the Science question paper.
In 2024, a total of 3,84,597 students from arts, science, and commerce participated in the Class 12 exams, which were conducted between February 16 and March 20. Students who did not pass the CHSE Odisha Class 12 exams were also given the opportunity to take the Odisha Board compartment exams. Information regarding the CHSE compartment exams will be provided during the announcement of results.
