The NDA selection procedure consists of two phases: the written exam and the SSB interview. The results for each phase are released individually.
Consequently, the next stage for candidates who have qualified will be the SSB interview. Those who are selected will have the option to choose their interview date and time and generate the call-up letter from the appropriate service board websites.
During the interview, candidates will be assessed on their personality, aptitude, and suitability for a career in the armed forces. The SSB interview process lasts for five days.
According to statistics, every year, around 4-5 lakh candidates enroll for the NDA exam, with only approximately 7-8,000 candidates passing the initial round, resulting in an overall success rate of about 2-3%.
By passing the NDA exam, candidates can realize their aspiration of joining the Indian Armed Forces. Those who succeed in the examination will be recruited to fill 406 vacancies within the Indian Army, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Wings.
