The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has initiated the registration process for counselling. The registration for counselling commenced on the official website – comedk.org. The deadline for registration for COMEDK is June 18. The counselling process for COMEDK UGET 2025 is expected to include three rounds, with seat allocation determined by candidates’ preferences and the availability of seats.
Candidates will engage in subsequent rounds based on their prior selections. An additional counselling round will be held specifically for candidates who passed the supplementary examination conducted by the PUC board for Class 12 during the current year, aimed at filling any remaining seats.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC or Class 12 standard examination with English as one of the subjects and achieved a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongside Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Karnataka only). The relaxation in minimum academic eligibility (i.e., from 45% to 40%) is applicable solely to candidates from Karnataka.
For the first year of the 5-year B.Arch degree course for the academic session 2025-26, the notification specifies that no candidate will be admitted to the Architecture course unless they have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with either Chemistry or Biology or a Technical Vocational subject, or Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Informatics Practices, or Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate, or have passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, achieving at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
The counselling process encompasses registration, choice filling, seat allotment, seat confirmation, and fee payment.
