The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has announced the results for the initial round of seat allotment for BTech and BArch programs online mode. Candidates can verify their allotment status by logging into the official website at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. They will need to enter their JEE Main application number and password to log in.
The admission process under JAC Delhi encompasses leading institutions in the national capital region, including Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), and the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). For the 2025 admission cycle, there are a total of 7,333 seats available for BTech programs and 90 seats for BArch.
What should candidates do after receiving their allotment?
Candidates who have been assigned a seat in the first round must report to their respective institutes and complete the admission formalities between June 9 and June 18, 2025.
Upon reporting, students are required to bring essential documents, including their JEE Main scorecard, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, and any relevant category or reservation certificates. Admission is granted only to those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria established by JAC Delhi and have successfully qualified in JEE Main 2025.
The registration and choice filling period was available from May 21 to June 2, 2025. Following the announcement of Round 1 results on June 9, the subsequent round of seat allotment will be revealed on June 24. The third and fourth rounds will be disclosed on June 30 and July 4, respectively.
A spot round, determined by available seats, will be revealed on July 10, with the reporting for the spot round set for July 11.
Candidates wishing to withdraw their admission after being assigned a seat in Round 1 can do so via their candidate login. Once a candidate chooses to withdraw, they will be removed from all future rounds of counselling.
Nevertheless, they may still qualify to take part in the spot round, if it occurs. The withdrawal option will remain accessible until July 8, 2025, until 10:30 pm.
When will the second round allotment list be released?
For candidates who did not register during the initial period, a new chance to register and adjust their choice preferences will be available on June 19, 2025, from 10 am to 10:30 pm. This represents the final chance to alter preferences, as choice editing will not be permitted in subsequent rounds.
According to the schedule, the verification of Defence, Kashmiri Migrant, and bonus point claims for newly registered candidates will occur on June 20 at 9 am. The results of the seat allotment for Round 2 will be announced on June 24.
JAC Delhi administers a centralized counselling process based on JEE Main ranks, ensuring a just and merit-based distribution of seats in engineering and architecture programs across leading institutions in Delhi.
